Year 9 and 10 Catering pupils had a fantastic opportunity this week to use the professional facilities at Kendal College to create and serve a meal for 70 parents and family members. Pupils were split into groups who worked front of house, in the main kitchen and in the pastry kitchen.
The meal comprised a starter of Ham Hock Terrine, the main course was Ballentine of Chicken with a Haggis Bon Bon and, finally, a dessert of Vanilla Cheesecake.
A huge thankyou to Paul Waring and his talented team of staff and students who shared their phenomenal skills with us.
