Religious Education

All students study RE in years 7 and 8. They then investigate aspects of RE through their personal, social and health education (PSHE) programme in years 9 and 10. Students will then study for a short course (half a GCSE) qualification in RE in years 9-11. The aim of studying RE is to understand the beliefs, values and traditions of different religions as well as to think about their own ideas and responses to the ‘big issues’ in life.
