Literacy Intervention

At Settlebeck School, we believe that strong literacy skills are the foundation for success across all areas of learning. Our literacy intervention programme focuses on building fluency and comprehension to ensure every student can access the curriculum with confidence. By enhancing reading fluency, accuracy, and comprehension, we enable students to actively engage with their learning, strengthen critical thinking skills, and cultivate a lifelong passion for reading. Through tailored support, we aim to close gaps in literacy and provide every student with the tools they need to thrive academically and beyond.

At Settlebeck we are using two intervention packages:
